Common questions
Accounts and signing in
How do I sign in without a password?
Hitch is passwordless. Enter your email and we send a one-time code (or a magic link). Enter the code and you are in. There is no password to make, forget, or leak.
My sign-in code never arrived.
Check spam and promotions, then request a fresh code; only the newest one works. If nothing lands, write to [email protected].
How do I delete my account?
In the app: Settings, then Delete account. Deletion is permanent and removes you from your weddings; details live in the privacy policy.
Invitations and RSVPs
I have an invite code. What do I do with it?
Download the app, sign in, and enter your code; it opens your wedding. A web RSVP for guests without the app is in design.
Can I change my RSVP after answering?
Yes, until the host closes RSVPs. Revisit your invitation and answer again; the couple sees the latest answer.
Photos
Who can see the photos I upload?
The people in your wedding. Read the detail on photo storage in the privacy policy before uploading anything sensitive.
What happens to After Dark photos?
They auto-delete 7 days after the wedding, no backup, no export. The bin is the bin.
Hitch Pro and billing
What does Hitch Pro cost?
$299, once, per wedding. Billing and receipts live in your Apple account.
How do refunds work?
Purchases are billed by Apple, so refunds go through Apple. Start at Apple's "Report a Problem" page, and copy [email protected] if we can help.
Safety and reporting
How do I report content or block someone?
Report any message or photo in the app; reports route to the host's queue and we review them within 24 hours. To limit contact, use Blocked people in settings.
